Who we are
About Brafem Geriatric Foundation
Born from love, built on compassion — a home where every elder is seen, valued, and cared for.
Our Story
A Foundation Built on Family
Brafem Geriatric Foundation was established in Ilorin, Kwara State, out of a deeply personal conviction: that Nigeria's elderly deserve specialised, dignified care that honours their lifetime of service and sacrifice.
Our founders witnessed firsthand the gap between the care that ageing parents needed and what was available. They set out to create a home — not a facility — where seniors could live their later years with warmth, purpose, and the comfort of community.
Today, Brafem stands as a trusted name in geriatric care in Kwara State, combining professional medical expertise with the warmth of a family home. Every decision we make is guided by one question: would we want this for our own loved ones?
Our Mission
To provide compassionate, person-centred care that preserves the dignity, independence, and joy of every senior in our community.
Our Vision
A Nigeria where every elderly person lives their final chapter with love, comfort, and respect.
